Holiday residences and group accommodations located in beautiful surroundings
This former gloomiest space in the castle –situated on the second floor– has recently been taken care of and magically transformed into an enchanting residence which welcomes five persons. The tower room with two beds has regained its originally limed walls and arched windows. The old beamed ceiling serves as the basic construction for the immense beamwork, which carries the three building layers above, the perfect spot for adventurers to spend the night when a roaring tempest makes the roofbeams crack. Until recently this place used to shelter barn owls.
Through the main hall and the terrific staircase the residence is entered. Here a bathroom (toilet, shower, sink) is located and a pantry plus refrigerator with freezer is installed.
A few steps up the kitchen area can be found, connected to the living area. From this simple kitchen, built from natural materials and set up with a fridge, oven, cooking plates and porcelain sink, the northern part of the park with the lake can be seen. Through the four dormers the morning sun shines on the sparkling colors of the interior. At the end of the living area is a romantic sleeping alcove in shades of red with a large double bed.
From the living area a staircase ascends to a mezzanine with two sheltered sleeping quarters, which can also be occupied as a fun attic for children to play in.
This residence also includes a television and a DVD-player.
