Accommodation for 1-22 persons

 

The house originates from the first half of the 19th century and is a preserved historic monument. The barn section is now part of the living area and the kitchen and dining room are located here. In the dining room a long dinner table with 18 seats is arranged. Folding doors open to the terrace and the garden. This section is built 80 cm higher than the old dwelling house, with its fireplace and wood stove in the sitting areas. The difference in height adds a playfulness and surprising elements to the house.

In the living room a wood stove, television and VCR are present. When in need of a quiet moment or meaningful conversation the door can be closed, the crackling of the fire a soft sound in the background. In total there are three toilets, four showers and seven sinks, divided over the residence.

Making the round

The residence is arranged with central heating, as well as a wood stove and a fireplace. In the kitchen a dishwasher, microwave and oven are present. In order to provide a flexible choice in sleeping there are 24 accommodations present, divided over six bedrooms in various measurements and intimate corners. In the larger bedrooms seating spots can be found, which provide an ideal space for playing games that do not have to be put away immediately.

Original identity

During the restoration the original identity was preserved and taken further in the expansion of the barn section. The two staircases and the recurring difference in level, between the old house and the former barn section, provide a playful and large, cozy residence where many people can enjoy a great time together. Usually the kids having a sleep-over here are the wildly enthusiast ones!

Outside there is the choice between a private fore-court lit by the morning and afternoon sun, and the garden with a large terrace on the south-west, verging on the kitchen and dining room. Next to the garden plenty of parking space can be found.

Inside-outside

Recently the dwelling house has been expanded with a large dining/sitting area. The dining table can host 25 guests. A bunk-bed is available. On the same level a toilet and shower for the disabled are present. In summer, when the large doors open to the courtyard, a wonderful inside-outside atmosphere provides for relishing meals or simply being there.
